Delete your data
Effective 2 October 2026
Delete your account
Sign in, open your profile and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to type your email (and your password, if you have one) to confirm. It happens straight away and can't be undone.
- Workspaces where you are the only member are deleted entirely: brands, connected accounts and their tokens, scheduled and past posts, uploaded files, statistics, the inbox, reports and settings. Posts waiting to go out are cancelled.
- Workspaces shared with others stay with the team: you are taken out of them, and what you wrote there remains, shown as written by “Deleted user”.
- If you are the only owner of a shared workspace, or its primary owner, make someone else an owner (and hand the workspace over) first, so the team isn't locked out.
- Your Meta and LinkedIn logins, your AI assistant connections, your notifications and invitations sent to you are deleted. Your name, email, picture, password and Google or Apple sign-in are removed from your account record.
- Paid plans: automatic renewal by card is stopped. Payment records are kept as accounting law requires, without your Mobile Money number.
We send you an email confirming the deletion, with a code to check it below.
Disconnect a network
To stop BoostHive using one social account without deleting anything else, open Accounts in the app and disconnect it. Its token is deleted at once; its past posts and statistics stay in the workspace until the workspace is deleted.
You can also remove BoostHive's access from the network itself. The token we hold then stops working; the account shows as needing to be reconnected, and you can disconnect it there.
| Network | Where to remove access |
|---|---|
| Facebook and Instagram | Where to remove accessIn Facebook, Settings, Apps and websites: find BoostHive and remove it. |
| Threads | Where to remove accessIn Threads, Settings, Account, Website permissions: remove BoostHive. |

Removing BoostHive from Facebook
When you remove BoostHive from your Facebook or Threads settings, Meta sends us a deletion request. We then automatically delete your Meta login (your Facebook name, id and token) and disconnect the Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts or Threads profile you connected, deleting their tokens.
Posts already published and statistics belong to the workspace of the business that published them, and stay there for its team. To have those deleted too, delete your account or ask us.
Meta gives you a confirmation code. Enter it above to see the status of your request.
Ask us
To delete a workspace without deleting your account, to delete data we may hold about you as someone who wrote to a brand, or for anything else, write to hello@getboosthive.com from the address concerned. We answer within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.
What we keep after deletion
- Payment records, as accounting law requires.
- An anonymous account record, so a team's history still reads.
- A record of the deletion request itself (its code, the dates and what was removed, in counts), as proof that it was done.
- Deleted data may stay in database backups for a short time, until they are replaced. See the privacy policy for how long each kind of data is kept.
BoostHive is a product of Versity Life Co-Ltd. Questions about this page: hello@getboosthive.com.
